Tehran, IRNA - Mujahedin-e Khalq (MKO) terrorists have conducted conflicts in the camp of the MKO terrorist group in Albania and fired on Albanian police officers.

Earlier on Tuesday, Albanian media reported that armed clashes were conducted by MKO terrorists against Albanian police officers as the country's police inspected a base of the MKO terrorist organization in Manez.

The Ministry of the Interior has reacted to the tensions in the MKO camp, where this morning after the police check inside the camp premises.

Today’s operation of the State Police in the location of the MKO in Manez of Durrës is in the full implementation of the SPAK order and the decision of the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, the Ministry stated.

It noted that the members of the MKO terrorist group have not fulfilled the conditions set by the authorities and have committed crimes and conflicts.

In this regard, the Albanian prosecutor has stated that the attempts and activities of the MKO in Albanian territory have been contrary to agreements reached between the government and this group.

The MKO has conducted numerous assassinations and bombings against Iranian statesmen and civilians that caused nearly 17,000 Iranians killed since the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution in 1979.
