Heading a high-ranking delegation, President Raisi departed Tehran for Jakarta late on Monday for a state visit which he described as a turning point in developing ties between the two Muslim nations.
The Iranian President left for Iran on Wednesday after meeting with the President, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Speaker of the Indonesian People's Consultative Assembly, and the Secretary General of ASEAN.
He was seen off at the airport by Indonesian Vice President Handoko and the head of the Indonesian Research and Innovation Organization.
During this visit, the President also attended the passionate gathering of Indonesian Muslims at the Jakarta Islamic Centre and met and talked with them.
