Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has said that Iran plans to carry out more joint border projects with Pakistan.

Amirabdollahian posted a tweet in Farsi on Friday in which he gave a report of the border projects inaugurated between Iran and Pakistan on Thursday.

He said that an electricity exchange project, as well as a border market was inaugurated on the joint Pishin-Mand border in a ceremony participated by Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday. 

The Iranian foreign minister noted that further development of Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan and the bordering areas in Pakistan will benefit both countries.
