Tehran, IRNA – Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) and Head of the Russian Federal Customs Service (FCS) have signed a new agreement to facilitate trade and transit between the two countries.

The agreement was signed between Mohammad Rezvani Far, on the Iranian side, and Ruslan Davydov, from the Russian side in a meeting in Tehran on Wednesday. 

Rezvani Far said after signing the contract that it could lead to an increase in the volume of trade between Iran and Russia.

Davydov, for his part, stressed the need to facilitate and speed up customs affairs and to help businesses of the two countries in their exchanges.
