Beirut, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati have discussed ways to deepen and expand relations between the two countries.

In a meeting in the Lebanese capital Beirut on Thursday, Amirabdollahian and Mikati also discussed the latest developments in the region and the world.

Earlier on Thursday, Amirabdollahian and his Lebanese counterpart Abdallah Rashid Bouhabib met and discussed bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments.

The top Iranian diplomat is visiting Lebanon at the head of a high-ranking political delegation and on the second leg of a regional tour that also took him to Oman earlier this week.
