Tehran, IRNA – The Zionist regime of Israel’s armed forces have bombarded a town in the northern rif (countryside) of al-Quneitra Governorate in south-western Syria.

According to a Monday report by Al-Mayadeen satellite television channel, the Zionist army fired 12 shells to hit the Qars al-Nafl district in the eastern part of Hadar town in the northern rif of al-Quneitra.

The Lebanese TV network also reported that the shelling had inflicted no casualties or damage.

Some Zionist media outlets also claimed that the regime had targeted a military facility in the northern rif of al-Quneitra early on Monday.

The aggressive attacks by the Zionist regime on different cities and villages, including on al-Quneitra, have been carried out in the past but the Syrian air has defense responded to the strikes.

The last time that Syrian air defense confronted the Zionists’ aggression occurred in March when the attacks were launched on southern districts of the capital Damascus.
