Abbas-Ali Kadkhodaie, the head of Committee to Legally Follow Up Assassination of Martyred Lieutenant General Soleimani, made the remarks at a Meeting to Survey the Legal and Judiciary Aspects and Human Rights Violations on Terrorist Assassination of Martyr Soleimani, attended by over 100 diplomats and scientific and university personalities in the sideline of the 52nd UN Human Rights Council.
"The move was an obvious criminal case of terrorism, and strong violation of the fundamental international laws," Kadkhodaie said.
Kadkhodaie said that Martyr Soleimani was performing his duties in campaign against terrorism, which is a human rights commitment of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on the international laws, and the UN Security Council various resolutions.
He said that besides, Haj Qasem Soelimani was in Iraq based on an official invitation of the Iraqi government, after many years of fighting against ISIS in both Iraq and Syria based on those two countries' governments' requests and their people's welcome, and had played a very decisive role in defeating that dangerous terrorist group quite bravely, and therefore, those nations remember him as the hero of campaign against terrorism and the peace-maker commander.
