Tehran, IRNA – A meeting to survey the legal and human rights aspects of Martyr Soelimani's terroristic assassination, was held in the presence of over 100 diplomats, scientific and academic personalities on sidelines of 52nd UN Human Rights Council.

The Permanent Ambassador of Iran in Geneva-based UN Office Ali Bahraini gave a lecture and Abbass Kadkhodaie, the head of the Legal Committee to Pursue Martyr Soelimani's Assassination presented a report on the moves made to observe justice.

Three legal experts from Iraq and France, Dr. Mahmud Khlalil Jaafar, a professor of international laws at Baghdad University, Eli Hatam and Zohreh Mahi, residing in France on Thursday gave lectures on the issue in the online panel discussion.

Ali Bahraini elaborated on some personality traits of Martyr Soleimani and said that he was a strong defender of the human rights, adding, "The criminal act of assassinating Soleimani was not only obvious breaching of the human rights and the international laws, but also violation of the rule of laws and threatening the international and regional peace and stability seriously, and therefore the criminals involved in this crime need to be punished justly."
