In the online session headed by Islamic Republic of Iran Permanent Ambassador in Geneva-based UN Office Ali Bahraini, in the presence of different countries' ambassadors, thinkers and analysts, issues such as the precious services offered by the late commander of IRGC Quds Force, assassinating the anti-terror commander in an inhumane and terroristic manner, and how to keep accountable the perpetrators and commander of that criminal act, which was against the laws were discussed.
At the beginning, Iran's permanent ambassador to UN Geneva-based Office said terrorist act of assassinating late Quds Force Commander Qassem Soleimani was an international crime and Iranian nation will not cease justice seeking in that regard.
Ali Bahraini who was speaking at an online panel discussion on the sidelines of the 52nd Regular Session of UN Human Rights Council added, "The illegal nature of that criminal act, in terms of obvious violation of the international laws and the human rights, and the short-term and long-term aftermaths of it on lawfulness and regional peace and security, necessitate accountability of entire concerned international organizations, making its creators accountable, and seek justice for its victims."
"This terrorist act was not only breaching the laws and international order, but also an extraordinary challenge for preservation of the norms and the basic standards of the human rights in terms of respecting the individuals' right to live," he added.
Then Abbas-Ali Kadkhodaie, the head of the Special Committee for Legal and International Pursuance of Martyr Haj Qasem Soleimani's Terroristic Assassination presented explanation on the moves made for observation of justice in that file.
He said that the United States is responsible for this injustice and obvious breaching of the human right and asked the international society to condemn Washington's act as a real threat against the international peace and stability.
Kadkhodaie referred to the former UN Rapporteur Agnes Kallamard, who branded the inhumane assassination of Martyr Qassem Soelimani as a wayward murder and introduced the Americans responsible for it, and for breaching the UN Charter.
International laws expert Eli Hatam, a residence of Paris, too, focused on the inhumane aspect of Commander Soelimani's assassination. He said that the US machoism and unilateral, illegal criminal acts put at stake the international peace and stability, ensuring that the peace-loving nations are establishing a new world order free from the dictatorship of the Americans.
Syria's permanent representative at UN Geneva-based Office said that martyred Quds Force Commander Haj Qasem Soleimani was an inspiring epic for the world nations.
Heydar Ali Ahmad who was speaking at an online panel discussion on the sidelines of the 52nd Regular Session of UN Human Rights Council, titled 'Extraterritorial Breaching Cases of Huaman Rights' added, "Qasem Soelimani was a high-ranking leader and supporter of the human rights. He lived like a hero and was martyred like a hero."
The top Syrian diplomat reiterated, "Qassem Soleimani was not only an inspiring epic in West Asia, but also an epical leader for many world nations."
