In an interview with IRNA, Brigadier-General Karimi said that during the meeting with his Pakistani counterpart, the two sides reached good agreements in various fields including education, especially the training of female police officers, which Pakistan was supposed to soon transfer its official request to the Iranian side.
Referring to the fruitful interactions between the two countries in recent years, he highlighted that fortunately, the two countries have been able to take effective measures in identifying and detaining drug trafficking agents with mutual goodwill and serious cooperation.
Strengthening cooperation in the extradition of drug trafficking offenders was also discussed with the commander of Pakistan’s counter-narcotics forces, he said, adding that the Iranian delegation in the area of training announced the full readiness of the Anti-Narcotics Police of Iran to train Pakistani female police officers.
