Tehran, IRNA –  Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian a few minutes ago departed Venezuela for Cuba’s capital city.

Earlier today, Amirabdollahian met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in Caracas in which the two senior officials discussed various issues in bilateral and international relations.

Amirabdollahian also met and held talks with Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodríguez early on Saturday.

Leading a high-ranking Iranian delegation, Amirabdollahian arrived in Caracas late on Thursday. He held talks with other senior government officials of Venezuela on Friday, including with the country’s ministers of foreign affairs and petroleum.

Heading a high-ranking delegation, Amirabdollahian arrived in Nicaragua on Wednesday to hold talks with Nicaraguan officials on issues of mutual interests as well as international developments.

In his Mauritanian trip, the Iranian FM addressed correspondents on Tuesday that the Islamic Republic is on the frontline of the fight against terrorism and it supports any move to enhance stability and security in the West Asia region, Africa, and the world.
