The foreign minister met with Nicaraguan authorities in his one-day stay in capital Managua and a few minutes ago departed for Venezuelan capital Caracas.
Amirabdollahian was welcomed by his Nicaraguan counterpart as well as minister of youth and deputies of president.
The Iranian top diplomat thanked Nicaraguan officials for warm welcome, saying that he and his entourage stay in Nicaragua concurrent with the victory of revolution in Iran and the anniversary of Sandinista revolution in the Latin American country.
Pointing to the cooperation between the two countries, he noted that the agreement of long-term cooperation was signed in Tehran and the implementation of the document is being discussed with Nicaraguan authorities during this visit.
He also conveyed the warm greetings of high-ranking Iranian officials as well as the Iranian people to the Nicaraguan president and all friendly people of the Latin American nation.
