Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Monday that “hostile and provocative” stances of an advisor to the Ukrainian presidential office about a recent attack on a facility in central Iran are “suspicious”.

While condemning the remarks by the Ukrainian official, the Iranian spokesman called for an official and transparent explanation of the Kiev government in this regard.

Reiterating Iran’s respect for the accepted principles of the international law, Kanaani said that Iran has always been stressing its national security and protecting its interests and will appease with no side on this path.

He highlighted that Iran reserves the right to conduct reciprocal measures against the sides that have been involved in actions against the international law.
