Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Niger Hassoumi Massaoudou discussed mutual ties in a meeting in Niamey on Friday.

Accordingly, the latest issues of bilateral ties and cooperation between the two countries were reviewed.

Holding the third meeting of the Joint Economic Cooperation Commission in early 2023 was also agreed upon by the two sides.

Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister also met with the ministers of interior, energy, and planning, the deputy minister of foreign affairs, the head of the Iran-Niger Parliamentary Friendship Group, and the head of the Niger Chamber of Commerce during his visit to Niamey.
