Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian has left the capital Tehran for talks with senior Turkish officials, including his counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, in Turkiye.

Amirabdollahian led a senior delegation of Iranian officials as he departed for Ankara early on Tuesday.

The talks would focus on important international, regional and bilateral issues, said a report by the IRNA.

The top Iranian diplomat’s visit to Turkiye comes just days after he toured Lebanon and Syria for key regional talks.
