The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad hosted a seminar called “The Commemoration of Martyrs of Resistance Movement” on Tuesday.
The seminar was held to introduce different aspects of sublime characteristics of martyrs of the Islamic world and the resistance movement to the world. Iran’s diplomats as well as some Shia and Sunni thinkers, political and religious figures, university professors, and cultural celebrities took part in the event.
Iran’s consulate in the Pakistani city of Karachi also held a conference on the fight against Islamophobia and terrorism in the presence of religious and political figures, elite, and media operators.
Some pundits made comments on the special role of the martyrs of the resistance movement, reviewing the significance of the resistance in defending the Islamic world and the oppressed nations of the region.
Pakistani elite paid tribute to the martyrs, condemned the United States' unilateral acts in the region, and ruled out the Zionist regime’s plot to pursue the so-called normalization with the regional states.
Some Pakistani poets recited poems on the characteristics of Martyr Soleimani in Persian and Urdu languages.
Abdullah Gul, a Pakistani political activist, addressed the audience saying that the enemies of Iran have always hatched plots against the country.
