Tehran, IRNA - Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani said on Monday that the Islamic Republic of Iran, as an effective and responsible member of the IAEA as well as the NPT, and as a country with nuclear capabilities and knowledge, has always had serious and effective cooperation with the Agency.

On the third anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, Bagheri Kani said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been serious in the fight against terrorism, and the same terrorism that was supported by many Western powers was defeated in Iraq and Syria.

Referring to the perusing martyr Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani assassination case, he said that the legal and international section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in cooperation with the international section of the judiciary are pursuing this issue.

In response to a question about cooperation with the IAEA, he said that Iran, as an effective member, has always cooperated seriously with the Agency, and the negotiation process has been a continuous path, and the talks are not stalled and instead are being seriously pursued away from the media's machination.

In reaction to the German and the US claims that they do not consider the JCPOA negotiations and they are not focused on these issues, Bagheri Kani underlined that the negotiations have been a continuous process that has continued and its ways may have changed, but this process continues.
