In the Tuesday afternoon meeting, Amirabdollahian and Izetbegovic discussed the latest developments in the Balkan region, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the recent situation in Iran.
The expansion of bilateral collaborations in particular in the parliamentary arena was another topic of the negotiations between the two officials.
Iran’s top diplomat invited Izetbegovic to pay a visit to the Islamic Republic in the future.
Amirabdollahian arrived in Sarajevo early Tuesday and then he met with his Bosnian counterpart Bisera Turković.
The Iranian top diplomat’s trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina was made at the official invitation of the Bosnian foreign minister.
The Iranian FM also visited Serbia on Sunday, where he held talks with Serbian authorities during his two-day stay in the European country.
