Bushehr, IRNA – Smartening the borders is one of the top priorities of the Iranian border guard, Iranian Border Guard Commander Brigadier General Ahmad Ali Goudarzi has said according to the public relations department of southern province of Bushehr.   

Speaking during a visit to Bushehr, the commander said that the Iranian border guard has plans to upgrade electronic and optical facilities and smarten the borders.

Underlining the necessity to use drones in monitoring the borders, he said that measures are underway in this regard.

He also said that the country has plans to allocate more vessels to the border guard.
