In today's competition, Zainab Nowrouzi, Kimia Zarei, Shakiba Voghoufi, and Maryam Omidi Parsa, members of Iran's lightweight four-person rowing team, competed with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines in the final round and won the bronze medal of the tournament.
In this competition, representatives of Vietnam and Thailand won gold and silver.
Iran’s female rower Nazanin Molaei snatched a gold medal in the event.
Also, Amir Hossein Mahmoudpour, Abolfazl Satouti, and Amir Reza Abdali ranked third in the competition.
Abolfazl Setvati and Amir-Reza Abdoli snatched the bronze medal, and Hamid-Reza Rezvani and Shirzad Ghaderi won the bronze medal.
Mahsa Jaavar as Iran’s female rower snatched the gold medal.
The 2022 Asian Rowing Championships were the 21st Asian rowing championships and took place from November 30 to December 4, at Royal Thai Navy Rowing Center, Ban Chang, Rayong Province, Thailand.
