The Public Relations Department of the IRGC Ground Forces issued a statement on Monday, declaring that the new round of attacks by the Hamza Seyed al-Shohada Camp in northwestern Iran has been kicked off in order to destroy remaining headquarters and centers of the anti-Iran separatists in Iraq's Kurdistan region.
The centers, which have been used for hatching plots and training terrorists, are being stricken from early morning, the statement mentioned.
Regions of Jazhntan, Zaragoza and Koi Sanjaq, which are located in the Iraqi Kurdistan or Southern Kurdistan, were pounded in the drone and missile attack and the IRGC inflicted a heavy blow on terrorists in the areas.
Last week, the IRGC Ground Forces also conducted a big operation by the use of drones and missiles against the terrorist groups in northern Iraq.
A commander of the Hamza Seyed al-Shohada Camp noted that in the second attack, which happened last week, some targets in border areas as well as 80 kilometers inside the Iraqi soil were pounded.
In the first operation, which was carried out around one and a half month ago, the same forces attacked the terrorists' hideouts in northern areas of the neighboring country.
According to the commander, more than 100 anti-revolution elements of the separatist groups were arrested in the recent unrest in western parts of Iran.
Moreover, the commander underlined that the terrorists smuggled weapons from western borders into the Iranian soil, including Kalashnikov, colt, grenade and Winchester rifle.
