Commander says Iran will firmly respond to enemy's mistakes

Mashad, IRNA – Commander of the Ground Force of the Iranian Army Brigadier-General Kiumars Heidari said on Tuesday that if the enemies take a mistake in dealing with Iran, they will receive a rigid response from the country's armed forces.

The commander made the remarks during a visit to an Army checkpoint at the Iranian northeastern border of Dogharoun.

He said that the Army forces are ready to do their utmost to defend the Iranian borders.

The deployment of Army forces at the borders is not an indication of the existence of elements of threat; it is rather meant to develop a better monitoring of the borders and ensuring sustainable security.
