Shiraz terrorist attack shows enemy's failure: Syrian Minister

Damascus, IRNA – Syrian Local Administration and Environment Minister, Hussein Makhlouf mentioned the recent terrorist attack in Iran's Shiraz in Shah Cheragh Shrine and said that whenever the enemies of the resistance fail to achieve their goals, they resort to these dirty and weak methods.

In an interview with IRNA, Hussein Makhlouf said that the recent terrorist attack in Shiraz, which led to the martyrdom and injury of a number of Iranian citizens, is the biggest reason for despair and hopelessness of the enemies of resistance, goodness and honor.

On behalf of the Syrian government, he extended his condolences to the government and nation of the brotherly Islamic Republic of Iran and the families of the martyrs over the terrorist attack in Shiraz and stated that Syria's solidarity and standing with Iran with continue.

Makhlouf in his remarks said that Iran and Syria have a history of common and productive cooperation.

The Syrian minister emphasized that the cooperation between Iran and Syria will continue.
