Sari, IRNA – Mazandaran, the northern Iranian province, is now ready to take over the export markets of the Caspian Sea as the government has made all-out efforts to extend due support to the province during the past year, a provincial official announced on Monday.

Despite the sanctions and the pandemic during the past two years, the government supported Mazandaran to export commodities to different world countries, Rahim Bakhshi, chairman of coordination for investment in the province, told IRNA.

Bakhshi referred to dairy products, fruits, knowledge-based products, and disposables as the ones exported to Iraq, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Turkiye, UAE, Uzbekistan, Romania, Afghanistan, and India.

To increase exports from Mazandaran, the effective role the producers and economic enterprises play is inevitable, the official noted.

Mazandaran with its 22 counties has 39 industrial zones and 2,300 production units.
