Iran Greco-Roman wrestlers advance to finals of 2022 World Championship

Tehran, IRNA – Greco-Roman wrestlers of the Iranian national team defeated Kyrgyzstan in the semifinal game of the 2022 World Championships on Saturday to advance to the final match of the competition.

The tournament opened in Baku, Azerbaijan today and will come to an end on Sunday.

On their way to the semi-finals, the Iranian wrestlers also beat Türkiye and Serbia.

The title holders, Iran, will wrestle for a second consecutive championship and its sixth championship in the history of the games on Sunday.
