IRGC confiscates foreign tanker carrying 11m liters of smuggled fuel

Bandar Abbas, IRNA – The IRGC navy forces have confiscated 11 million liters of smuggled fuel in the Persian Gulf, the head of the Hormuzgan judiciary said.

Mojtaba Ghahreman said the consignment was worth 220 billion tomans.

He added that the operation was the result of one-month technical and intelligence investigations.

He noted that the captain and the crew would be in custody to complete the legal processes.
