-- President: Iran’s oil exports near pre-sanctions levels
Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi confirmed that the country’s oil exports have come closer to the figures prior to the re-imposition of the U.S. sanctions.
Raeisi made the remark in a meeting with Iranian university deans in Tehran on Saturday night, Fars News Agency reported.
“The enemy had explicitly announced that it would try to reduce Iran’s oil sales to zero. But today, Iran’s oil export has been reaching the statistics prior to the 2018 sanctions,” the president declared.
-- Iran’s non-oil exports grows 25% MOM
Iran’s non-oil exports have registered a 25 percent increase in the Iranian calendar month to October 22 in comparison to figures from a month earlier, according to the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.
Omid Qalibaf also put Iran’s imports during the month under review at $5.7 billion which he said shows a 30 percent growth compared to the preceding month.

A total of 12 male boxers will represent Iran in the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) Asian Elite Men and Women Boxing Championships. The competition will be held from October 30 to November 13 in Amman, Jordan.
The Iranian delegation set travel to Amman.

Seven Iranian girls from different parts of the country have managed to achieve honorary diplomas from the 24th International Youth Art Exhibition Nova Zagora.
The exhibition taking place every year in the town of Nova Zagora, Bulgaria, is considered to be the art center where artists from different countries present their works.
There were no specific themes for the 2022 version of the exhibition.
-- Russia to Host 16th Joint Economic Commission With Iran
The 16th Iran-Russia Joint Economic Commission will be hosted by Russia from October 30 to November 1.
Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji is the head of the Iranian delegation of this joint commission and Alexander Novak, the deputy prime minister of Russia, is also the head of the Iran-Russia joint commission from Russia.

-- Children’s books by Abbas Kiarostami, Ahmadreza Ahmadi published in Japan
Children’s books “I’ve Got Something to Say that Only You Children Would Believe” and “The Colors” by the Iranian writers Abbas Kiarostami and Ahmadreza Ahmadi have been published in Japanese in Tokyo. The Japanese publisher Kanoa has purchased the rights to the books from Iran’s Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adult – Kanoon, the institute announced on Saturday.
With illustrations by Kiarostami, “I’ve Got Something to Say that Only You Children Would Believe” was originally published by Kanoon in 1969.

As announced by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) on Saturday, Iran’s non-oil trade stood at $60.133 billion in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-October 22), rising 10 percent as compared to the same period of time in the past year.
The IRICA data put the country’s seven-month non-oil export at $28.406 billion and that of import at $31.727 billion, showing 5.6 percent and 14.4 percent growth, respectively, year on year.
