FM: Iran will impose sanctions on more European people, entities

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said on Tuesday that the country will in the coming days add more European Union individuals and entities to its sanctions list.

He made the announcement at a meeting of Iran’s High Council for Human Rights.

Earlier in October, the Islamic Republic imposed sanctions on over a dozen European individuals and entities, including BBC Persian and Iran International Network, for encouraging riots and violence in Iran.
