Bagher Namazi leaves Iran

Tehran, IRNA – Mohammad Bagher Namazi, a dual national who had been arrested by the Iranian Judiciary on espionage charge, left Iran for Oman on Wednesday.

Few days ago, Namazi had been released from jail, and today departed for Oman.

The United Nations chief and Omani foreign minister over the phone thanked the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian for the release of Namazi.

Namazi who was accused of having cooperation with the hostile governments was detained after the order of the Judiciary six years ago.
