Iran's Supreme Audit Court elected as ECOSAI head

Tehran, IRNA – The Supreme Audit Court of Iran (SAC) was elected by the members to head the Economic Co-operation Organization Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI ) for a duration of three years.

The ECOSAI is a regional forum of the Supreme Audit Institutions of the South and Central Asian regions. Founded in 1994, the ECOSAI aims at promoting the state auditing profession in member countries through exchange of ideas, experiences and by holding seminars, conferences, workshops and training courses, according to the official website.

Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Pakistan, Tajikistan, and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus are the members of the Economic Co-operation Organization Supreme Audit Institutions (ECOSAI ).
