He made the remarks during a press conference in Mahdasht space station where the operation of Khayyam satellite is controlled.
The official said that the initial processing is made in Mahdasht while the final processing is made by companies active in the area of remote sensing.
Salariyeh also dismissed rumors about espionage capability of the satellite as “childish” remarks".
He noted that such remarks only make the atmosphere tense.
The official said that Khayyam satellite has been designed and constructed fully for removing the domestic needs in different areas, including crisis management, civil issues, natural resources, mines and agriculture.
He made it clear that the data provided by this satellite will be handed over to knowledge-based companies in a standard way.
When asked that these remarks are connected with the war between Russia and Ukraine, he said that when a contract for cooperation with Russia was signed, there was no such war.
"These remarks are strange and only bring smiles to our faces."
