Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s team in the 2022 World Taekwondo Cadet Championships won two gold and one silver medal on the first day of the tournament on Thursday.

The champions kicked off on Thursday in Sofia, Bulgaria, with 669 Taekwondo athletes from 90 countries.

Four athletes represented Iran in the first day of the championship, winning 3 medals.

Iranian girls Baraan Jamal-Livani at -29kg and Sayna Alipour at -51kg gained gold medals and the Iranian boy Mohammad-Erfan Zare at -65kg won a silver medal.
