The most recent statistics published by the General Administration of the Customs of the People’s Republic of China indicate that trade exchanges between China and Iran increased by 23 percent in comparison with the figures in the same period last year, reaching 8.263 billion dollars.
The value of exchanges between the two countries was declared more than 6.722 billion dollars from January to June.
China’s imports from Iran in the first six months of the current year increased significantly, reaching 4.081 billion dollars, showing a 31 percent hike, while China imported commodities worth 3.116 billion dollars from Iran in the same period last year.
China’s export to Iran witnessed a 16 percent increase from January to June, reaching 4.182 billion dollars, while its export of goods to Iran has been estimated at 3.606 billion dollars in the same period last year.
According to the report by the General Administration of Customs, China’s total global trade stood at 3079 billion dollars, showing a 10.3 percent increase in comparison to the same period last year.
China exported commodities worth 1732 billion dollars and imported goods worth 1347 billion dollars in the first half of the current year.
