Tehran, IRNA – Iranian’s foreign ministry spokesman said that the Zionist regime has neither dared nor has the ability to confront Iran militarily.

In an interview with Al-Alam TV which will be broadcast on Tuesday evening, Nasser Kanaani said that the recent threats of the Zionist regime are just psychological warfare and the regime neither dares nor has the ability to confront Iran militarily.

He stressed that Iran’s response to any foolishness by the Zionist regime would be devastating.

With regard to US President Joe Biden's recent regional tour, the spokesman said that Biden failed to form a military alliance against Iran and the countries of the region do not trust the US anymore.

On Turkish President’s trip to Iran, Kanaani noted that Tehran understands Ankara’s security concerns about its southern borders but rejects the idea of establishing a buffer zone inside Syria.

In another part of the interview, Kanaani noted that Washington has not yet accepted all of Iran’s demands included in the text of the 2015 nuclear deal.

Washington should give real guarantees to Iran, he said, stressing that prolonging the talks was not in the interest of any party, especially the US.
