--Iran, Russia, China rap US over impasse after JCPOA talks in Qatar
Iran, Russia, and China censured the United States at the UN Security Council for refusing to meet Iran’s demands after two-day negotiations in Qatar to discuss the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal ended without a concrete result on Wednesday.
Diplomats spoke at the UN Security Council Thursday, wringing their hands at perceived lack of progress after Iran and the European side said they will keep in touch “about the continuation of the route and the next stage of the talks”.

The global oil market needs to increase supply from Iran, said Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji adding that disrupting energy security and intensifying market fluctuations is a lose-lose game for all players in the field.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 30th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting which was held via videoconference on Thursday, Owji noted that the OPEC+ will continue to monitor developments on a regular basis and take any action necessary to maintain stability in the oil market.

With 470 hectares of historical structures, Kashan in the central province of Isfahan is known as the city of ancient monuments, said head of the city’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Iran Daily, Ahmad Danaeinia, added that most of the city’s historical edifices date back to the Qajar Era (1794-1925 CE).
Borujerdi House, Ameri House, Tabatabai House and Agha Bozorg mosque and school are among the monuments dating back to the Qajar Era.
He noted that some parts of Kashan’s historical section were destroyed, pointing out that the irregular construction of streets and alleys in the area during the Pahlavi Period (1925-1979) damaged the valuable ancient structure.

Diplomats spoke at the UN Security Council Thursday, wringing their hands at perceived lack of progress after Iran and the European side said they would keep in touch “about the continuation of the route and the next stage of the talks”.
Iran’s UN Ambassador Majid Takht-Ravanchi told the council that the latest talks were positive and the Islamic Republic is ready to strike an agreement, but everything depends on the U.S. to make a decision.

The telephone talks between the Iranian and Ukrainian foreign ministers to defuse the flames of war, once again proved the peaceful nature of the Islamic Republic and its strict neutrality, coupled with efforts for solutions, concerning crises around the world.
Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Dmytro Kuleba stressed on ending the war with Russia into which Ukraine has been pushed by NATO through diplomatic means.
The war, which is now in its fifth month, is being used by the West, especially by the US, to try to drain Moscow’s economic and military sources even it means killing the last Ukrainian soldier and destroying that country.

Iran has reaffirmed its commitment to contribute to the diplomatic resolution of the simmering crisis in Ukraine, which is now into its fifth month.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hussein Amir-Abdollahian in a phone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba on Thursday pointed to Iran’s principled position of opposing war and stressed ending the crisis through diplomatic means.

-- Housing price increases 8.4% in Tehran city
Average housing price rose 8.4 percent in the capital Tehran during the third Iranian calendar month Khordad (ended on June 21), compared to its previous month, according to a report by the Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
Based on the CBI data, the average price for one square meter of a residential unit in Tehran stood at 394.14 million rials (about $1,313) during the mentioned month.
The average housing price in the said month also increased 32.8 percent in comparison to the same month in the previous year.

Renowned Tunisian actor Hichem Rostom died last Tuesday at 75.
He played a role in “Salman Farsi”, a major unfinished Iranian TV series about the life story of Salman Farsi, the Iranian companion of the Prophet of Islam (S).
“We were informed by Tunisian artists that we have lost Hichem Rostom, the prominent actor of our series,” “Salman Farsi” producer Hossein Taheri told the Persian service of MNA on Thursday.
-- Iran, Russia ink road transportation co-op MOU
Iran and Russia signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on road transportation cooperation, at the end of the two countries’ Road Transportation Joint Committee meeting in Moscow on Wednesday.
The MOU, inked by Iranian deputy transport and urban development minister and Russian deputy transport minister, is a step toward strengthening the two countries’ economic exchanges in the field of road transport.
The parties also discussed and made agreement on the exchange of statistics and information in terms of road transport, international road transport issues in the territory of Iran and Russia, the use of traffic permits, border crossings and the development of international transport corridors.
