Tehran, IRNA – The Syrian tourism minister has said that Damascus aims to attract 100,000 tourists from Iran and that Syria calls on Iranian tourists to expand their visit to the country, not only Aleppo and its antiquities but also other scenic areas of other Syrian provinces.

 Muhammad Rami Martini made the remarks in his exclusive interview with IRNA in Damascus on Saturday.

The Syrian minister of tourism in his remarks added that this Syrian Ministry in cooperation with Iran's Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization has signed an annex to the MoU (Memorandum of Understanding).

Syria aims to attract 100,000 tourists from Iran, said Muhammad Rami Martini, adding that  Damascus provides all services to Iranian pilgrims at land entrances and airports.
