He added, “Both stressed that arbitrary & extraterritorial sanctions are illegitimate”.
“We agreed to intensify joint efforts to expedite full implementation of our agreements.”
Lavrov, who arrived in Tehran on Wednesday at the invitation of Amirabdollahian, held talks with the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
After today's meeting, the two foreign ministers held a joint press conference.
