Tehran, IRNA – Member of Pakistan Peoples Party Nadeem Afzal Chan described the project of transferring gas through Iran as a solution to energy crisis.

Speaking to IRNA, Afzal Chan stressed boosting the exchange of delegations between the two neighboring countries and called for developing bilateral cooperation, especially in the trade sector.

He added that developing interactions with neighbors, especially Iran, would be in line with Pakistan’s interests.

Pakistan needs to overcome the energy crisis at home, and considers the Iranian gas project as a solution to this challenge.

He called for finalizing the project to transfer Iranian gas to Pakistan.
