Tehran, IRNA – Knowledge-based companies in Iran have significantly grown in number and their exports have increased as they become established in global markets.

Iran National Innovation Fund (INIF) CDO Siavash Malekifar said on Saturday that the number of knowledge-based companies passed 6,800.

The INIF provides knowledge-based companies with a long spectrum of services and supportive tools in all areas, including financial backing.

Malekifar said that these companies exported 800 million dollars of goods in the last Persian year (March 2021-March 2022), as they have accessed the markets of over 70 countries around the globe.
