Mahmoud Abbaszadeh Meshkini, the rapporteur of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said that the IAEA sought a gesture of power and convergence with the Western governments and the United States.
He said that today’s commission session was participated by Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahin who provided the lawmakers with a report on the developments in Vienna talks and the effect of the recent anti-Iran resolution on the ongoing talks.
As Iran had entered the talks with seriousness and good faith, it did not expect such a resolution to be issued, Abbaszadeh Meshkini said.
He noted that the resolution lacks a firm content and is mostly an advice which is of no value for Iran.
