Iran national wheelchair basketballers in finals of Asia Oceania Zone Championship

Tehran, IRNA – The National Iranian Men’s Wheelchair Basketball team defeated the hosts 74-46 in the semi-final game of the Asia Oceania Zone Championships, underway in Thailand, to advance to the final game of the tournament.

In the finals on Saturday, Iran will face Australia.

Also the National Iranian Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team faced Thailand on Friday where they were defeated by the hosts 59-50.

However, the Iranian team ranked third due to better points difference and booked a ticket to World Competitions.
