Tehran, IRNA – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said here on Tuesday that a strong Iran in all areas, including defense, economic, cultural, and even scientific advances, requires reaching orbit.

Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh made the remark at the launch ceremony of the Noor-2 satellite.

He said that a strong Iran in all fields of defense, economic, cultural, and even scientific advances needs reaching orbit.

Pointing to the round-the-clock efforts of domestic experts and scientists, Brigadier General Hajizadeh highlighted that more important than technical issues of this event is the power of the Iranians’ will against sanctions and maximum pressure.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force launched its second military satellite “Noor-2” by Qased carrier to a distance of 500 kilometers.

According to the IRGC, ‘Noor-2 Satellite’, the second Iranian military satellite, was launched from the Qased carrier and was placed in 500-km orbit.

Now Iran has two military satellites in orbits close to the earth.
