Speaking at the first national Wushu festival at Iran Mall in western Tehran, the ambassador said that China and Iran are miles away from each other, but Wushu has turned into a link between the two countries.
Those Iranian who are eager to be familiar with Wushu have come to China to be trained, Chang Hua said adding that the two nations have ancient civilizations and long-lasting friendly ties.
At the end, the Chinese ambassador hoped that the first national Wushu festival would give necessary information about this sports and help upgrade the level of Wushu competitions in Iran.
Iran's Mansourian sisters well-known to the world for their Wushu capabilities have brought several gold and other colorful medals from the world competitions to the country in recent years.
