Deputy Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan Ruslan Baimishev said the mining sector could be a gate for Iranian companies to enter the Kazakhstan market.
The Kazakh official made the remarks in a meeting with the head of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), Vajihollah Jafari, in Tehran on Monday.
-- Masuleh: A must-see tourist site
About 1,050 meters above sea level, where the air is thinner, cooler and less polluted, there is a 1,000-year-old mountainous village named Masuleh located right up to a beautiful green valley.
It was founded in the 10th century CE. The village is located approximately 60km southwest of Rasht, northern province of Gilan, near the southern coast of the Caspian Sea. The first village of Masuleh was established around 1006 CE, 6km northwest of its current location.

The largest historical site of the country is located in Neyshabur, northeastern province of Khorasan Razavi, said the head of the city’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Iran Daily Mohammad Esmaeil Etemadi added that a large part of the area, known as Shahr-e Kohneh (Old City), is buried under the ground.

-- Iran’s Parliament Raises Oil Sales, Price Forecast for 2022-23
Iran’s parliament has decided to raise its forecast for oil sales and price in the upcoming financial year that starts in March amid the inclusion of barter deals for its crude, ISNA quoted a parliamentary official as saying.
Iran’s parliament forecast sales of 1.4 million b/d based on a $70/b price, up from the previous estimate of 1.2 million b/d based on a $60/b price, spokesman of the parliament’s presiding board Nezameddin Mousavi was quoted as saying by ISNA.

Directed by Abbas Ghazali, the Iranian short film “Smile of the Mask” is scheduled to be screened at the U.S. Cinequest Film Festival.
Being Ghazali’s third short film, Smile of the Mask is about the bitter social issue of acid spraying and the smiles hidden behind the victim’s masks.
The Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival is an annual independent film festival held each March in San Jose, California and Redwood City, California. The international festival combines the cinematic arts with Silicon Valley’s innovation.
-- Iranian President Raisi Presented Qatar Football Team’s Jersey
Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani presented the jersey of his country’s national football team to Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi.
The Iranian president arrived in Doha earlier on Monday and was officially welcomed by the Qatari ruler.
During their meeting, the emir presented Qatar’s signed jersey, which is symbolically number 22 on the occasion of the 2022 World Cup in the country, to the Iranian president.

Mohammadreza Davarzani, head of Islamic Republic of Iran Volleyball Federation (IRIVF), says that they have not yet decided to invite Saeid Marouf to the National Team. The captain was not a member of Iran at the 2021 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship in Funabashi, Japan, where Iran won the title.

Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Kazutoshi Aikawa has visited Iran’s southern Shahid Rajaee Port to explore areas of mutual interest for future cooperation, the portal of Iran’s Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) reported on Monday.
During his visit to the port in Hormozgan Province, Aikawa also met with Alireza Mohammadi Karaji-Ran, head of the province's Ports and Maritime Department, to discuss ways of expanding economic cooperation between the two countries through the mentioned port.
