Bin Hamad Al Thani made the remarks during a joint press conference with Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi in Doha on Monday.
Speaking during the press conference, Bin Hamad Al Thani said that he talked with the Iranian president about the Vienna talks and the Iran nuclear deal with the West because this has a great impact on the security and stability of the region.
Pointing to his country's readiness to help Iran for reaching a good deal in Vienna talks, the Qatari Emir highlighted that the Qatari government is fully following the path of negotiations in Vienna and hopes that in the near future the Iranian nuclear issue would be resolved and lead to an agreement that all parties are satisfied with and respect the right of countries to use peacefully under international treaties.
The two sides discussed and exchanged views on regional and international issues plus the stability of the region as well as resolving differences and confronting the challenges in the region.
They also talked about the issue of Palestine, Afghanistan, Syria, and Yemen.
President Raisi arrived in Doha earlier on Monday to participate in a Summit of the heads of state of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
