The Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Islamic Republic of Iran and People's Republic of China is a 25-year cooperation agreement on the further development of Iran–China relations signed in Tehran by the Chinese and Iranian foreign ministers on 27 March 2021.
According to the strategic plan, China is to invest 400 billion dollars in Iran's economy over a 25-year period in exchange for a steady supply of Iranian oil.
The program has also three dimensions: partnership instead of competition, strategic long-term ties instead of short-term relations, and multilateral ties.
