Vienna, IRNA – Iran's top negotiator Ali Bagheri Kani at the head of a delegation arrived in the Austrian capital on Monday for following up the eighth round of talks aiming to remove unjust sanctions.

In the later hours, Bagheri Kani will leave for hotel of Coburg to hold diplomatic consultations before the Joint Commission meeting of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

The JCPOA Joint Commission meeting will be held at the level of heads of negotiating delegations between Iran, European Union (EU), and 4+1 this afternoon.

Negotiators reached agreement after three-week-long talks in the previous round of talks and long-term denial of Iran's legitimate demands from three European states.

The agreement was on the joint text and on the basis of continuation of negotiations in which Iran's demands have been taken into consideration.

During the fresh round of talks, the sides are to exchange views about the contents of the text and road map for revival of the July 2015 nuclear deal, aka JCPOA.

Success in this round of talks depends on taking difficult political decisions, particularly by the European sides which have not played a constructive role during the previous round.

It is expected that the European sides would be present in fresh round of talks more seriously and take practical steps towards fulfillment of their commitments without media propaganda.

Already, Bagheri Kani had said that if the other side accepts Islamic Republic of Iran's logical viewpoints and stance, the eighth round could be the final round and agreement would be reached in the shortest time.
