Tehran, IRNA - Iranians are going to commemorate Yalda Night Festivity in an atmosphere of assisting other fellow countrymen amid economic hardship.

According to Iranian culture, Yalda Night is a Northern Hemisphere's winter solstice festival celebrated on the longest and darkest night of the year. Iranians celebrate the occasion, hold parties and read poems from renowned poet Hafez.
Iranians try to spend a good time on this night along with their families and relatives.
This is the second year that Iranians are advised to respect social distancing protocols and refrain from having parties in order to remain safe and sound during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic.
