Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Justice Minister Amir Hossein Rahimi on Monday left Tehran for Egypt to partake in the assembly of the member states of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC).

Rahimi, heading an Iranian delegation, left Tehran for Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, with the aim of participating in the ninth assembly of member states of the UNCAC.

The eighth session of the UNCAC took place in 2019 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

As of December 2021, there are 189 parties to the UNCAC: 181 UN member states, the Cook Islands, Niue, the Holy See, the State of Palestine, and the European Union.
