Directed by Ahmad Bahrami, “The Wasteland” won the ‘Premio Radiónica de la juventud’ award in the Colombian festival.
The film will also be screened in the world cinema part of the 32nd Carthage Film Festival in Tunisia and the 29th edition of Rendezvous with Madness Festival in Toronto, Canada.
The film has so far participated in 25 international film festivals winning various awards from Venice Festival 2020, International Cinephile Society 2021, Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique 2020, and many other international events.
